Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry on the Mecca Defense Alliance: A secretariat will be established, headed by a Secretary-General in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to support the work of the three countries within the framework of the Mecca Agreement. The Secretariat will initially be headed by a Secretary-General from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for a three-year term.
