1 year ago17.02 Police arrest 1 at Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay. at least 3 arrested there in all. Right after this shot, another was detained, so at least 4 arrests. Unclear what's motivated this heavy-handed policing in various locations around HK.

1 year agoHaving passed the main atrium of the New Town Plaza, police have almost cordoned off the entire mall. Such a siege of this mall is second to the scuffle that took place on July 21. Riot police have also threatened shoppers by pointing guns at them.
1 year agoRiot police pointed guns and pepper spray at protesters inside the Shatin mall, after someone threw a bag of rubbish and water down at them when they were retreating with a few arrested protesters.
